Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast who was previously a member of both the Fierce Five 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. Aly was the recipient of three gold medals during the 2012 Olympics, in London. In addition, she took her bronze on the balance beam. She became the first American to have won the most Olympic medals. In the 2016 Olympics she won a gold medal for the team event. This earned her and teammate Gabby Douglas the honor of having being the first Americans to earn back-to-back team golds. Also, silver medals were awarded in the individual all-around as well as floor workouts. After the 2 Olympics she took off from competitive gymnastics for three years. She won gold in the Olympics. American team also took home the two World Championships. She began learning gymnastics at the age 2 and her favorite event is flooring exercise. Aly is a supporter of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation in honor of her grandmother who passed away from cancer. Aly hopes to achieve a successful career in fashion. The leotards she wears as a signature as well as socks, and other clothing will be expanded on in the future. Fierce is a novel she's currently working on, will release later in the year.
